I'll find my artistic niche eventually.  Currently, I'm discovering the joy that is cross-stitch which lends itself very nicely to my love of video games because it's so easy to use pixel art as a cross-stitch pattern.  I've just uploaded my first game-related cross-stitch in the form of a Deus Ex: Human Revolution/My Little Pony crossover (yes, I've been bitten by the pony obsession as well).  It started off as something I found myself sketching which I then translated into pixel art using MS Paint and then I used that as a pattern for cross-stitch.  I'm hoping to try something similar with other characters, game or otherwise. I haven't drawn anything for a while and the most creative thing I've done recently was making some Long Fall Boots for my Chell cosplay at the London Expo this year. So, I thought I'd share them with you. I've also uploaded some of the better pictures from the Expo. I'm afraid I'm not especially photogenic so sorry about that. ^^' This may also inspire me to do some Portal fanart so watch this space. :)

I know it took a long time but as it was my first ever Photoshop picture, I was sort of expecting it to.  I found a really good tutorial to help me with the basic colouring and another few for things like shadows and clouds.  All in all, not bad for a first attempt but I could probably do better now I'm a bit more familiar with things.  BTW, I would really, really love some critique on this if possible.
